  St Stephen's Hospital in Hervey Bay was Australia's first fully integrated digital hospital. Serving the Fraser Coast region, the $96 million facility opened in October 2014 and ​includes services such as oncology, gynaecology, urology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology and general surgery. St Stephen’s ​was the first hospital in Australia to achieve Stage 6 certification from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), on the Analytics Medical Electronic Medical Records Adoption Model (EMRAM).

  Buderim Private Hospital services the entire Sunshine Coast Region. The hospital, previously known as the Sunshine Coast Private Hospital, was purchased by the Uniting Church in 2000 and thus became part of UnitingCare Health. To support the development of the Sunshine Coast region the hospital continues to grow rapidly with significant developments underway. Today with over 149 beds, the hospital is one of the largest private hospitals outside of the Brisbane metropolitan area. It provides a broad range of medical and surgical services including a cardiac catheter laboratory, which opened in 2001.
